Good to Go!!
Thursday the 25th, I’m leaving for Prague. This is my first solo backpack abroad. I went on a cruise all alone when I was in New York. But that was just a day trip.
To be honest, one of the reasons I sometimes go alone is simply that it’s tough to find people to go with, especially on short-notice. So at times its just the sheer necessity. But that is not the only reason to enter the wilderness by yourself. Going solo brings Freedom. Going solo helps opening up to strangers.
I already booked my tickets a month ago and got it cheap. I’m starting from Amsterdam on Christmas evening and will reach Prague the next day morning. I was reading about places in and around Prague and came to know about Bohemian Switzerland. Pravcicka Brana is incredible. Its the largest rock bridge in Europe. I can’t miss this. Afterall I’m a nature loving person. I am planning my iterenary now. I can get down at Dresden / Schöna instead of going to Prague on Day -1; enjoy the serene nature and then reach Prague sometime in the evening to enjoy the night life. Sounds like a plan.
